TANZANIA WILD CATS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PAYMENT TERMS
- 30% deposit is required at the time of booking.
- 60% must be paid 30 days before departure.
- 10% is payable at the start of the safari.
- If booking is made less than 30 days before departure, an 80% deposit is recommended, with the remaining 20% due on the day the safari begins.
RESERVATIONS
To reconfirm your booking, provide full names, Passport/ID number, and payment in line with the above schedule. Flight number, airline details, and pick-up location are also required so that pick-up time can be advised.
CONFIRMATION
A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit of 30% of the total travel cost has been received.
TRANSPORTATION
Tanzania Wild Cats provides well-maintained vehicles including tour vans, Land Cruisers, Land Rovers, and Toyota minibuses with pop-up roofs designed for safari. Please reconfirm the type of vehicle requested. For city transfers, station wagons, saloon vehicles, or coaches will be used for airport and in-city transfers. Tanzania Wild Cats reserves the right to employ the services of subcontractors when necessary.
RATES
Rates are based on prevailing fares and costs at the time of publication. They are subject to change without notice if currency fluctuations or cost changes occur.
CANCELLATIONS
- In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be refunded less expenses incurred (administration fees, bank charges, etc.).
- Cancellations received within 60 days of the start of arrangements will incur a 50% charge of the tour cost.
- For cancellations made between 45 to 3 days, charges will depend on terms set by other suppliers (e.g., lodges).
- Cancellations within 48 hours or in the case of a no-show will be charged 100% of the booking value.
- Gorilla permits are strictly non-refundable.
- Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
TOUR ALTERATION
Tanzania Wild Cats reserves the right to:
- Change routes or arrangements if conditions necessitate.
- Offer substitutes of equal value.
- Decline participation of any individual on a tour at any time; in such cases, an equitable refund will be provided.
- Note: Gorilla permits may be transferable in some cases.
LIABILITY
- Tanzania Wild Cats and its agents act only as intermediaries for passengers in matters related to accommodation, sightseeing, tours, and transport (aircraft, rail, road, motor-coach, ship, boat, or other means) and shall not be held liable for injury, delay, loss, or damage from any cause.
- Liability for passengers traveling in Tanzania Wild Cats’ own vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place, with all claims subject to local jurisdiction.
- The company may use subcontractors to provide services, and in such cases, the same liability limitations apply.
- While utmost care is taken, Tanzania Wild Cats cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage. Separate baggage insurance is strongly advised.
CLAIMS AGAINST AGENTS/OPERATORS
- If any claim is made against a Travel Agent or Tour Operator arising from breach of contract, negligence, or fault by Tanzania Wild Cats, the company shall indemnify the Agent/Operator only if such claim would have been awarded against Tanzania Wild Cats in the courts of the country where the tour takes place, provided the Agent/Operator has submitted to that jurisdiction.
- Beyond the liability explicitly stated in this clause, Tanzania Wild Cats accepts no further liability.
